Author Aimee Phan will read from her debut novel The Reeducation of Cherry Troung at the Chinatown Branch of the San Francisco Public Library on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm. Spanning three generations, this novel tells the sweeping stories of the Truong and Vo families, their escape from Vietnam during the war, the forces that separated them, and the ties that bind them over three continents.
